Our History:
OLA Preschool was opened in 1983 as Little Friends of Jesus with two goals in mind: a quality preschool for the families in our community and to build a network for young catholic families in the area to get to know each other and be involved in the OLA Parish. The preschool was a self-supporting group recognized by the OLA Parish. We became part of the OLA parish on July 1, 1998, recognized by the San Francisco Archdiocese through CYO.
OLA Preschool is licensed by the State of California, Department of Social Services, and therefore must meet all requirements set forth by this agency. We have a licensed capacity of 38 students in our two classrooms.
Non-Discrimination Policy: Our Lady of Angels School is a Catholic school under the direction of the Archdiocese of San Francisco. The Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of San Francisco, mindful of their mission to be witness to the love of Christ for all, admit students of any race, color, and national and/or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to the student at the schools. The Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of San Francisco do not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color, and national and/or ethnic origin, age, sex, or disability in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school administered programs. However, it must be noted that Our Lady of Angels Preschool gives preference in admission to Catholic families registered and participating in the parish, returning siblings, and then to new families.
