OLA has been chosen as one of six parishes in the Archdiocese for a special project called “Next Generation Parishes”.   We have been given the expertise of a national organization called Catholic Leadership institute (CLI) designed to prepare parishes in the United States for future generations.  We are all very aware of how rapidly our society values and priorities are changing to a more secular world.

I am happy that we at OLA have the opportunity to anticipate and “stay ahead of the curve”.  With expertise from CLI we will focus on three areas over a four year period:

1. Assess the strengths of our parish and how we will build on them for the future.
2. Develop a plan with goals and objectives that are real and measurable.
3. Cultivate an even greater awareness in the parish of how blessed we are and the call of the Church to reach out to others who are less fortunate.

Our goal is to use our talents, time and treasure to bring the message of salvation to as many people as possible.  Over the next four years, we will roll out a comprehensive program with goals and objectives that, when achieved, will set us up well for the future.  You too will have the opportunities to be part of this exciting adventure.  More information will be available to you as the project proceeds.
